P.E In the new hall!

Today, on Monday 29th of June Room 5 had PE in our new school hall
First we played line tag with a ball.
We had Applez for our teacher, since today is Monday.
It was soooooo fun playing line tag because we got to run around, I didn't get tagged.
Next we played Captains coming.
It is a game when there are 7 or more actions, the actions are :
Captains daughter
scrub the deck
Port
Shark attack
and so on.
The next game was indoor Soccer!
We kept making the ball go too high.
We all were just running anywhere.
Next Applez wanted us to get into positions you play for Soccer.
Me and River were the strikes on the girl's team.
Lucian and Cameron were the strikes on the other team.
Applez was taking photos and a video.
It was fun as and it looked like everybody else was having an awesome time!

Samoa

Samoa is in the Pacific Ocean and is in the Polynesian group and it takes about 3-4 hours on a plane to get from Auckland to Samoa.

The two main languages in Samoa are English and Samoan.

Our awesome tennis lesson!!

Today, Room 5 went out to the astro turf. First we were getting told by Mrs Edward about if we misbehave we would have to leave the astro turf and go to another classroom, but why would we do that if we would have to leave?
Our tennis instructor was Mr.Beamish.
First we were doing the basics with the tennis racket which was just hitting a tennis ball with the tennis racket, it was really easy because all you had to do was not hit it to high but hit it low.
Then we had to do another basic which was bouncing the tennis ball with the tennis racket.
We went to a harder but not the hardest thing, we had to throw the tennis ball to our partner from a pretty far distance, My partner was Paige since River had gone to partner up with Jessica.
Paige was throwing it pretty good, but then we had to throw the ball to a person with the tennis racket and they would have to hit it.
When Paige hit it to me I accidentally hit the tennis ball over the fence and then I had to run all the way to the exit of the astro turf to go get it, it was pretty yuck because the tennis ball had fallen into a puddle and was wet and dirty.
After that we had to go back to Mr.Beamish and get into two teams he just went 1,2,1,2.
I was in group 1 with Paige and others.
We had to line up, we all had a tennis racket each.
There was a net what we had to hit the tennis ball over.
This is what we done he threw the ball to us and we had to get it over the net and not out of the blue lines.
If we hit it out of the blue lines we would be out.
But if we got it into the right place we would just have to go to the back of the line.
When it was my turn I hit it to hard and it went out of the blue lines.
Zoe and Daniel were the last people to be in the line and I am not sure what they got for a prize, but I know they got one.
That was our tennis lesson for the day.
